DIVE MASTER

Trace grew up in Santa Cruz and has been diving since 2023.  His interest in marine research and conservation led him to study Marine Science and Policy at the University of Edinburg in Scotland, where he researched seagrass ecology in the Mediterranean Sea.  Now back in Santa Cruz, he remains active in marine conservation by volunteering as a citizen scientist with Reef Check California and contributing to local marine conservation policies with Surfrider Foundation.  Since becoming certified he has explored dives sites from Mexico to the Maldives, but nothing beats the kelp forests.  He loves sharing the local marine environment with others and searching for hidden invertibrates..
